We specialise in caring for nervous pets and offer a patient, calm approach that always prioritises the wellbeing and comfort of your pet.

We are fully insured, have full background checks and are trained in animal first aid, pet sitting and dog walking, canine communication and pet psychology. We love animals of all kinds!

Animal House is a family business and has been a dream of Lucy's for years. The family have had lots of different pets throughout her life, including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, mice, rats, fish and chickens, and the whole family are huge animal lovers.

The Animal House family have two rescue dogs, who were both extremely nervous and not great around other dogs. When they needed someone temporarily to help out with their care, they found it hard to find a pet sitting service that was suitable and who was happy to manage their dogs' nervousness. That's why Animal House was set up with nervous pets in mind, to offer you piece of mind when you need pet services for your family member.

Services
We offer a range of professional pet care services for all types of pets at Animal House, including dog walking, pet sitting and pet taxi services. If there's a pet service you're looking for that's not listed below, get in touch with us as we're really flexible in what we can offer!

As part of our pet sitting services, we also offer the option for us to complete small household tasks during the visit, where time allows and when pre-arranged. This means that when you're away, those little jobs around the house still get done and your pet gets looked after - the complete package!

Our dog walking services are delivered in your local area, so that it is familiar for your dog and less stressful for them. If your dog needs somewhere more secure to exercise, we offer the option of taking them to an enclosed exercise field so they can get their physical and mental stimulation in a safe space.

If your dog prefers a secured space to exercise rather than a walk, we can take them to a safe space to get their physical and mental stimulation. Up to one hour per session.​

£15 - per dog with up to three other dogs*
£20 - for private one-to-one access, or for up to two dogs from the same home.

40% discount for a second dog from the same home.
​
*Dogs in each group will be matched with compatible dogs.

At home pet care services
30 minute house visit

Pop in to feed your pet, let them outside, administer medication or give them some one on one affection! The visit will include play time, exercising indoors and any cleaning required.

In addition to providing your pet services, we can also complete small household tasks during that time where required and agreed in advance.
House sitting (24 hours)
£30 - £50
Ideal for when you're going away! Looking after your pet in the comfort of their own home and providing peace of mind for your property whilst you're away.

The house sitting service includes feeding, walking, play time and where agreed in advance small household tasks. Prices vary depending on the pet and needs of the service - ask us for a quote.

If you need someone to take your pet to the local vets or pet groomers for you, or you just need someone to take you and your pet, we can help!

Training classes
£15
If you've signed your dog up to a training class but are unable to take them there yourself, we can attend on your behalf so that your dog gets their training and you don't lose your spot in the classes!
